An apparatus for screening pulp comprises a vessel, a cylindrical screen within the vessel, a rotating element moving in the vicinity of the screen at a predetermined speed, an inlet for the unscreened pulp, an outlet for the screened pulp in the vessel. The rotating element has a contour surface with grooves formed of a first plane parallel to the envelope surface, an inclined plane, an upper plane and a side plane, the side plane being essentially perpendicular to the first plane, the inclined plane forming an angle between 30 DEG -60 DEG with the first plane, the upper plane being parallel to the first plane. The rotating element may be a rotor or blade type segments.

The invention relates to a sieve plate, which is intended mainly for sieves used for sifting paper pulps and for the pulp industry.
The purpose of the invention is to increase productivity and prevent blockage of perforations.
Figure 1 shows a sieve drum in which a sieve plate is used; in Fig.2 and 3 section aa in Fig.1 (options); Figures 4 and 5, versions of the screen plate.
The grooves 1 are parallel to the axis on the inner surface of the screen drum 2. The pulp rotates in the screen in the direction of arrow B and at the same time moves in the direction of the axis of rotation in the direction of the end of the waste drum. Since the component in the direction of the circumference is much larger than the component in the direction of the axis, the angle between the direction of the grooves and the direction of flow of the pulp is slightly different from the straight line,
